Q: When and where is the Utah Beer Tour?
A: There are 9 dates for the tour. Each is from 1-5pm. Please see the schedule tab in the menu for the line up.
Q: How do I buy beer?
A: You will purchase beer samples or pints directly from the host brewery once you are there.
Q: How much does each beer cost?
A: Cost will vary depending on the taproom.
Q: What am I getting for the cost of the ticket?
A: A Utah Beer Festival sample mug and entry to the festival! Each taproom will be activated with themed vendors, activities and live entertainment. The proceeds support local journalism at City Weekly. VIP tickets always come with a little extra sumpin’ sumpin’ and those will be determined by each event date and host.
Q: Any Special Deals?
A: BUY IN ADVANCE ONLINE it saves money and time!
Q: How many beers will be available?
A: Each tour stop will have all the beers from the host brewery available plus 3-6 visiting breweries with 1-3 options each.
Q: Where can I find parking?
A: We encourage people to find alternative modes of transport to driving, unless you have your Designated Driver! If you have a designated driver each location will be different. Feel free to give the Host brewery a holler.
Q: Can I bring my child and/or pet?
A: The Utah Beer Tour is strictly a 21+ only event. Well behaved, socialized pets are okay if allowed by the host brewery. PLEASE CHECK WITH THE HOST BREWERY.
Q: What is the appropriate ID to get into the event?
A: Driver’s license, state issued ID, Passport or military ID with photo. All ID’s must be current and not expired. Same rules that apply to any bar.
Q: If I am the DD do I still need a ticket?
A: Yes. The entry fee covers entertainment and activation of the taproom, not any alcohol.
Q: When do taps close?
A: Last call for visiting breweries will be a half an our before the end time with last pours 15 minutes before end time. Host bars will remain open afterwards per the normal hours of operation at their discretion.
Q: Is there any food on site?
A: YES! If the host brewery does not have a kitchen we will bring in food trucks/vendors!
Q: What can I bring?
A: No outside food or beverages permitted. Large bags are subject to search based on the standards the host breweries already have in place.
All water bottles must be emptied as attendees enter and exit the premises.
Q: Will the brewery’s accept credit cards or checks?
A: No checks. But YES they will accept credit cards and cash.

Compliance With the Law
The sale and distribution of beer and liquor is heavily regulated. Under no circumstance will minors be permitted to drink alcohol at the Utah Beer Festival. Participating alcoholic vendors must make reasonable efforts to understand and comply with all applicable requirements on their booths.
Attendees under the age of 21 will not be permitted to obtain drinking wristbands. If problem persists with an underage individual attempting to obtain a 21+ wristband, Utah Beer Festival will coordinate with local law enforcement.
Respect for the Individual and Groups
Everyone deserves to operate and co-exist in an environment where each individual is treated with dignity and respect.
Utah Beer Festival is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and from abusive, offensive or harassing behavior.
Therefore, all vendors and attendees must treat all individuals and groups respectfully, recognizing their human dignity, regardless of their diverse human characteristics: race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, physical or mental disability, size or appearance, genetic pre-disposition, ancestry, national origin, or veteran status.
All vendors and attendees will contribute to a positive environment that is free of hostile and offensive behaviors and harassment. Harassment means any unwelcome and inappropriate verbal or physical conduct, or coercive behavior, where the behavior is known or reasonably ought to be recognized as unwanted or unwelcome.
Responsible Alcohol Consumption
Members of the community of beer enthusiasts may enjoy alcoholic beverages at Utah Beer Festival.
In consuming alcoholic beverages, vendors and attendees must adhere to principles of reasonable consumption.
Should individuals consume more than a reasonable amount of alcohol and either are or appear to be incapable of functioning, either legally or appropriately, the responsibility of impairment falls upon the individual.
